how many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? There are plenty titles displayed in a wall of pictures, ZDF German Television Network, Warner Films Production, later on it show the title of the movie "Dance Academy", and then the names of the producers in another scene. what images are prioritized in the opening sequence? We can see a wall full of pictures of what it seems to be the main character, we see her dancing pictures with a voice over of her explaining that she doesn't dance anymore, later on we can see the group of dancers getting ready to perform, but she is watching them at work. what connotations do the images carry? We can connotate that her struggle is that she loves dancing but she's not able to do it anymore, showing the difference between her and her dancer friends.I might guess the the angle of the movie is about her trying to dance again. how is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the

Brothers, Tang Media Productions,Gracie Films, then the producers along with the directors, later the title "The Edge of Seventeen", and then trough the 1st scene it shows the names of the main production crew. what images are prioritized in the opening sequence? It shows a tracking shot of her running trough the school's hallways during lunch to go talk to her favorite teacher, she's desperate, it looks as if she has an emergency. She tells her she's going to kill herself, he doesn't takes her seriously because he knows her, she would never do that. what connotations do the images carry? We can connotate by this that she is struggling with her life and she doesn't really have anyone to be in lunch with but her teacher. how is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset? Mise-en-Scene "The Flash"

I chose to do episode 7 season 5 from “The Flash” because it shows many Mise-en-scene examples, such as setting, lighting, costume and staging. Also I chose this TV show because it's one of my favorites; the cinematographic, the scripting, editing, and the special effects always catch my attention.  Starting off the episode we find a little girl laying in a hospital bed. The mood is quiet, she's holding a toy, it seems like she was in an accident, she had scars and seemed hurt. The atmosphere is very dark with just one window open, everything is silent with sad music. This scene introduces us to the start of the episode, we (the audience) assumes that Barry Allen is going to solve the mystery of the accident and destroy the enemy,  the darkest setting portrays sadness, mystery, suspense and sorrow. The lighting through the whole episode shifts from very light and bright to a darker light, for example, when Barry’s family are in the house together cooking the light is b
