Camera Angles Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse

Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse (2018)

 I chose to comment on this movie because the visuals and the CGI are beautiful. I also think there is plenty of camera angles examples that, although is an animated movie, they express plenty of emotions that make this movie very interesting and visually appealing. Here are some good examples I found of some camera angles: 

Close-up Shot

This is one of my favorite scenes. Miles Morales has been told that he doesn't fit with the spider-men from other dimensions because he's not week, he's tighten up in a chair right now. His dad encourages him to not give up and he develops this new type of "lighten"super power that makes him stronger and now he's able to escape from the chair and go back to the adventure, giving the viewer hope, a sense of closeness to Miles, curiosity about what's Miles next action. 

Locked -down Shot

This is a very funny scene. His dad wants him to say "I love you dad" in front of the whole school. The point of this shot was meant for the audience to feel Miles' embarrassment with the camera focusing on him, even though the action was happening behind him. 

Point of view Shot

Peter Parker is explaining Miles about his life using fries. This was meant to be a funny scene keeping the audience connected to the character as they see what we was explaining to Miles. 

Tracking Shot

In this scene, both Spider-men are escaping with the spiderwebs from tree to tree as the camera follows behind them. It reflect a more realistic feeling towards what their actions because it makes the viewer feel like they are following them. 

Low Angle Shot

This shot was meant to cause the viewer the feeling of being inferior towards the villain, as you can see, the camera is position in a low angle so the villain can look bigger, scarier, and superior.

Stabling Shot 

This is one of the ending shots, this meant to establish the location were miles is right now. As we can tell he's at the top of a tall building demonstrating a visual heroic mood, this reflects all the things he's capable to reach with his super powers.
